For this project, we will create a map that shows the locations of the dining spots most recommended by students, includes the reviews, and also updates in real-time. This will help students get their lunch out of campus because dining options at Citytech are somewhat limited, with just one cafeteria in the Namn building. We will begin by surveying which bakeries, cafés, and restaurants are most popular among students. Next, we’ll create a map showing a 5-mile radius around the school in ArcGIS Pro. A link posted on campus will continuously collect student ratings. We’ll connect an RSS feed to the survey to the map so the most updated survey results will appear on the map. Sharing our findings will ensure that all students have access to information about the best dining options nearby, enhancing their overall campus experience.
