Stefon decided to go with the color black for his header, posts, reasons, and background of his logo because the color black represents power. According to Color Psychology (2019), the color black shows dominance by its ability to intimidate people. The yellow color in Stefon’s logo also portrays a form of power, symbolizing a crown. The color yellow is associated with the sun, which gives power/life to many things. The light gray font used in the pages helps portray a peaceful, more modern attribute to his portfolio. Smash Magazine (2010), states that the color gray is often used in corporations that are trying to portray professionalism and etiquette. The color black is also an authoritative color that portrays individuals who are significant, professional, and serious. Stefon wanted to associate all of those aspects within this portfolio.

Another reason why Stefon picked heading 5 is because it reminds him of flashy fonts that he has seen in magazines, so he wanted to portray that same stylish look.
