The Brooklyn Navy Yard and the Trust for Governor’s Island are starting a new Real Estate Fellows program for students entering their final year of their Associate or Bachelor’s degree in fall 2021. The program includes a paid 8-week internship this summer and then a 9 month paid fellowship during the 2021-2022 school year. The goal is that after the Fellowship, these students are super well-prepared and hired for real estate jobs with Brooklyn Navy Yard, the Trust for Governor’s Island, and partnering real estate companies.

This summer 2021, the NYC Department of Buildings will be hosting a limited number of paid internships through CUNY in the units listed below. All internship write-ups can be found in the attached zipped folder. There are opportunities for CUNY students studying civil/mechanical/electrical engineering, architecture, construction management, and many more majors! Internships will last for a maximum of 12 weeks, at 34 hours per week. Internships will run from 5/25/21 to 8/12/21. Please send resumes to YouthEngagement@buildings.nyc.gov clearly indicating the name of the internship(s) you’re applying for. The application deadline is Sunday, April 25th, by midnight.
