The IEEE Student Club will be offering a workshop on KiCad, a free software suite for electronic design automation (EDA). It facilitates the design and simulation of electronic hardware. The features include schematic capture, PCB layout, manufacturing file viewing, SPICE simulation, bill of materials, Gerber files, 3D models of the PCB and its components.

BENHAR’S SCHOLARSHIP FOR DESIGNERS & CREATORS OF COLOR
Two (2) scholarships at $2,000 each are available to qualifying students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be a full-time student at an accredited college in New York
- Applicant must be completing/have completed at least 30 credits towards an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction, or Project Management.
- Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Identifies as African American, Black or African Descent
- Note that only students pursuing an undergraduate (first degree) will be considered
