Group Project Homework
Refine the initial questionnaire assigned in homework 1 with actual research based responses. This will form the core of your client research for the group project.
Individual Project Homework
Develop a low-fi (low fidelity) logo mockup and color scheme for the app that you are creating the concept for. This material will eventually be handed over to the ux designer you will be working with. If necessary make revisions to your initial questionnaire based on my feedback.
Note: Remember to give me edit capability on the google docs you send me for review.
Homework 2
Due: September 16
Individual Product Evaluation—Initial Product Development
Based on the software usage that each student randomly selected to create the concept for answers to the following questions:
What does your Product Do?
Why should anyone care about what your product does? How is it helpful to user? Why should potential users want to use your product?
Who uses your product now? What do they mostly use it for?
What platform does your product run on?
What makes your product unique or special?
What customer problems does your product solve?
Note: This should all be assembled digitally with input from all team members and based on actual research not just opinions off the top of your head. The company website is a good place to start for this type of info. Check both the marketing and corporate sides of the site.
