I made my choice on the profession of nursing because I truly want to contribute something significant and useful to society. From the time I was in high school I felt the need to aid someone, if they were in pain. That was the time when I realized that I will pursue an education in medical field. I decided for myself to associate my life with nursing, which able me to provide assistance to others through the profession of medical care. Some people are lucky enough to have a calling. I am among those people and my calling is being a nurse.
Patients are best treated not only by tablets, injections and medical procedures but also by moral character and support. For me this is my calling and because of this everything I do is an accommodation to prepare for the nursing career.
