The Pavillion in Battery Park designed by Demetri Porphyrios has very unique tone standing in the sourrounding enviornment. The structure is built mainly with the materials of wood, stone, and metal. The columns and steps gives the design a very unique look to it. Through studying the structure and floor plan of the the Pavillion, the design is similar to the style of the ancient Roman buildings. The Pavillion is a amazing work of art, and it also function as a shelter for sun and rain in Battery Park.

This floor plan is an idea by Louis Khan in 1959, and is called the Esherick House. Whatā€™s special about this floor plan is that the design is very similar to our modern residential floor plan. It has all the necessary rooms and spaces that a usual house should have. The material that mainly used are brick, wood, and glass. The causes of this house is designed to be a living space or a shelter for a family.

This drawing is a sketch of SirĀ William Chambers drawings in his Treatise on Civil Architecture. The building is a classic primitive shelter that we see a lot in theĀ Renaissance time period. The roof of the structure is mainly hold standing by the four column, and the base of the shelter have column all around on the outside. This is old fashion architectural construction.
