As a senior student, we are required to participate in community service projects like educating certain population about proper dental hygiene interventions (in this case we went to a Tibetan Sunday School to target adolescent immigrants and teach them about proper oral hygiene and nutrition.) We were also required to go to a Head Start facility and provide fluoride varnish treatment for kids who have limited access to dental care.
