Shelby Simon is a motivated, innovative, and organized creative. She grew up in the southside of Houston, Texas and takes pride in her African American roots which manifests through her unique sense of personal style. Although she is active in many roles, her main identity is a daughter, sister, grand-daughter, friend, and student. Shelby is extremely passionate about fashion and uplifting her community through various fine arts. She is very determined to dive into the fashion industry and succeed, as this has been an interest of hers since childhood.

The black lines contrast with the light pink color to emphasize her strength (Bell & Ternus, 2006). The double S logo symbolizes the new profound confidence she embodies after realizing how special she truly was. This logo represents her gentle soul yet fiery attitude and the concept of “duality” in every human being.
