Summer internship abroad – Madrid, Spain 2018
Interning with El Moderno Concept Store was a unique experience to say the least. The store is located in Malasaña, a neighborhood in the center of Madrid known for its vintage clothing stores, artistic and lively environment, as well as being a student-friendly area. Selling home decor, jewelry, souvenirs and more! My summer here improved my spanish, build an international network and gain a sense of independence.

Volunteer opportunity to work backstage and assist models and production team in Fashion 4 Development‘s eighth annual First Ladies Luncheon. Honorees and attendees were Diane Von Furstenberg, Amber Heard and Ellie Goulding, just to name a few.

This internship opportunity derived from a successful volunteer and networking experience at NYFW. Working with Australian designer, Grandma Funk, encouraged me to embrace my creative and quirky side. I took photographs for social media, prepped clothing and styled models with the team.
