Geriatric depression affects nearly 7 million Americans over the age of 65 each year. It is also mostly affects people suffering from major health conditions. Our organization aims to connect the elderly with resources needed such as psychologists for therapy and a psychiatrist if needed. We will also provide different groups for therapy and different types of preventive groups like suicide prevention groups. Suicide affects a large portion of this vulnerable population, we are seeking for a change.
