Transportation as a college student is a very important part of their college career. Therefore, making a budget of how much money will you use throughout the entire semester will be a good idea. An important part is comparing how much money will you spend on commuting to school by car and by mass transit in NYC.

A very important part of mass transportation, is that you let someone do the work of transporting you from point A to point B. You don’t have to concentrate on looking for a parking spot or having to pay every hour for your parking spot, and if you get lucky, you will find a parking spot. Another benefit of using mass transportation is the time to study and read, even though sometimes might be uncomfortable, most of the time you will have time to study.

If the decision of driving to school is more comfortable for you, because you work and you have parking spots available. You will have to think, and check how much money you are spending on gas, insurance, parking spot, or maybe a transit ticket. If the amount that you spend on your car is big compared to the amount that you spend on mass transportation, therefore a big recommendation will be for you to wake up early and use mass transportation. The important idea is to save money, which could be used for something important either for class or to pay tuition.
