Welcome!
My name is Roothchild St Germain and I am a registered nurse currently completing my baccalaureate of science in nursing at CUNY City Tech. I will be graduating next semester, 2019. I am also an entrepreneur and a martial artist. The major goal for my career is to attain the title of certified nurse anesthetist, and the major goal for my life is to build a health care facility in Haiti.
My Strength
My strength is my ability to connect with people. Through my unique upbringing, engagement in personal activities, and training in various locations, I can equally connect with an urban child and a senior citizen in Minot, North Dakota. I may not agree with every person on every issue but I will always attempt to meet them somewhere in the middle.
Philosophy
I did not choose to be a nurse; it is who I am. I went through the educational process to acquire my license to practice, but even if I lost that today I would find a different outlet that would continue to allow me to render my services to the world.
Learning and Self Analysis
I have been fortunate to have great mentors who bestowed upon me the value of experiential education and life-long advisement. Our profession is as dynamic as the patients we treat, and each new generation of nurses is more educated, autonomous, and equipped to carry the profession through the information age. I am happy to be an active participant.
