Hello, welcome to my ePortfolio, my name is Rui Wen Li. I have been a dental assistant for six years and seeing the importance of dental health has driven me to choose dental hygiene as a profession. Dental hygienists have an important role as educators in providing patients with knowledge about the importance of maintaining oral health. The relationships and trust we establish with patients is very special. Completing the last semester of the Dental Hygiene program at New York City College of Technology during the pandemic has been a challenging obstacle. But I believe that because we are able to overcome this, we are even more determined and dedicated.
