Estilo Dominicano focuses on producing the national dress of the Dominican Republic, Cultivo De La Vida, which is mainly worn for Dominican parades, political ceremonies, or used for events focusing on Dominican culture. The traditional Dominican dress did not have an official name until 2007, when the National Council of Culture chose it. This was despite the fact that is has long been a part of Dominican Culture. Not to forget, we’d love to give a special shoutout to Dominican fashion designer, Carlos De Moya, for being our muse!
