I have always had an interest for science, the world, and how things worked. Creation is indeed beautiful! I also enjoy a good story, especially people’s life story.

At first glance my interests might have no connection to dental hygiene, but I think it does. Listening to patients, learning about their medical/dental history, and conducting assessments tells me a story. A story that I can influence, adjust, or leave be depending on how the story is going.

I love seeing how the body heals, how it fights to protect itself, and how I have the great privilege of teaching others how they can see this happening in their mouth.

When I was little I enjoyed going to the dentist and having a dental cleaning because they showed sincere interest in me. I’m happy to be able to follow the same path and contribute to making others feel cared for.
