Upon choosing our group we basically stick to the members that always seated at our table from the beginning of the semester. After selecting our group members we decided on what research tool we would like to develop. We then decided that we would create a resource information website that would be a great advantage to students at City Tech. The process of first deciding what the main idea would be wasn’t easy. Throughout the process of creating this resource information website we tend to change the topic a several times because we wanted a suitable topic that would be appealing to our audience and the students. First we thought about how to create a resource information site for students of City Tech on how to evaluate their career path. After not agreeing with that topic the next suggestion was to create a website which would be a guide to freshman at City Tech. But through process of elimination we then finally decided on “How Students can utilize club activities at City Tech to help relief stress while on their career path”. With this resource information website we believe it will help guide students on how to be more fundamental, relax and relief stressful issues. With this guide of information that we are providing it will allow students with common interest to come together as one and work with each other towards a common goal.

Throughout the process of creating the website each member of the group play a role. First Hossain wrote a welcome post to the site which state “how we would like our site to be of interest to students who view it and is trying to seek answers in knowing what kind of recreational activities are available at city tech. Tiffany then wrote a mission statement and Hossain wrote a guideline on how students can become members of a club at City Tech. Upon doing so he uses the help of the City Tech club website. With the information that he obtain from the website (City Tech) he then draw a conclusion on how to use step by step guides on how to become a club member of a particular club.

While Hossain research and wrote about the guidelines on joining a club. Eric was left to research and wrote about the fun activities students could do in a club to relief a stressful situation. Hossain also found a guideline on the City Tech website which is the preparation of a constitution which means that whenever a new club is to be created it requires a constitution before it can be known and have any participating members. He also found a form on City Tech website which is known as “Organization Public Data” in which he place on our site. With this form all it do is for students to filled it out and the information is then provided to them about the particular club they choose to be a part of. On our site Eric included clubs that are offered. He state there time of club hours, days and time. Tiffany also contributes in choosing clubs that she thinks would be of interest and the benefits it could offer to student at City Tech.

Upon the last day of the group meeting in class Tiffany worked on the PowerPoint. She chooses different pictures from google images where she inserts them in the PowerPoint. While Tiffany worked on the PowerPoint Hossain worked on the customizing background, appearance and theme of the site. He chooses different images and theme to apply to the site. Before we depart from class we decided on who would do what area of the site during the presentation. Tiffany decided to speak about Food and Wine club, Hossain would speak about the Chemistry club and Anime and Gaming Underground Club and Eric would speak about Music Club and Drama and Dance Club. Upon speaking about these clubs they should be able to illustrate the benefits a student can obtain from these recreational clubs to help relief stress. And I Collette would speak about the process of creating our website.

My recommendation to any group project work is to advice individuals that group work isn’t easy. I would say first make sure that each group members are able to play a role the project, then build a solid topic that will keep the audience and reader interesting. Once that foundation is laid out as a group the members will be able to create an outline of their main ideas, and how they would implement the presentation. I would recommend using three to four slides in the presentation but use slides and pictures. Pictures tend to say a thousand words but it also gives the PowerPoint a more appealing look. In doing so the members of the time basically created a road map on how they would like to present their presentation but most important how to keep the audience engaged and their interest.
