In this class, students were required to create a physical portfolio that consisted of a variety of creative projects given throughout the semester.

Color Wheel

One notable project was the color wheel. The purpose of this project was for us fashion students to get a proper grasp of the color wheel and an understanding of which colors were primary and which mixtures create secondary and tertiary colors.

Art In Visual Display

Another notable project from this class was the “Art In Visual Display” project. The purpose of this project is for students to find a painting from the Metropolitan Museum in NYC and compare it to a notable merchandising window from a high-end store using the elements of design.

The compare and contrast written portion can be accessed here.
