Homework#1

This is the photograph of the hudson overlooking the new york skyline by Michael Kenna. The photo shows a hudson river ferry passing by. It describes the something extrodinary and orginal of what New York City looks like in the past. The photographer uses a soft focus with less sharp lines. The image itself looks a little faded, however it lacks a little detail. The element that are most important is mostly soft light, low level, and it has a stright line. What it makes so emotional it has a timeless impact of what the world was like before 9/11. What has memorizes me the most is the twin towers that over looked the hudson river. There’s a connection about the photo that is unique is the historical importance of peace and prosperity. Each photo from the past few years has changed a great deal and how each skyline look different and how it transformed for the better.
