This is an easy going workplace. The first day of work, Neil already sent me an email to remind me to dress casually, no need to dress up professional. They have a refrigerator so I can put my food inside; they also provide coffee and tea, but I always forget to have some.

I work two days a week, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. So I usually arrive at 8:40 am to get prepared, and Jason, who’s the Lead Designer alway is the first one to open the door. At the time I arrived, he’s already working. Ken, he’s the account management, and he usually comes at 10 am. Sometimes Steph and Neil will come together, but if they need to meet with clients, they might come at a different time.

At the time I get to Webline, I usually take time to put down my backpack on the sofa, and get a cup of water. Then open my own laptop to start working. In fact, Webline offered me an iMac, but it might be an old computer to me, so I will take more time to get used to it. Later on, I decided to bring my own laptop to Webline in order to effectively be ready to work.

My table is right next to the wall, and I like the wall so much! It looks like HTML codes and also includes some key elements of Webline. I think this is a very cool idea. It’s a very nice decoration and also fully represented what kind of company is this. “We’re a web design company.” This is the message that directly stands out from the office.

BTW, Feb 16 Friday was the Chinese New Year, Steph bought us a Chinese Lunch. I had a dumpling soup, it has been few years I didn’t eat dumpling at New Year. However, it was a nice lunch.
