What ways do you get involved in participatory media?

Ways in which I get involved in participatory media, although seldom “participatory”, would be via the Instagram community. I’m not a picture-holic, constantly taking selfies and uploading them for the world to see, but I do enjoy seeing other vibrant portraits, which is why I use Instagram. Despite the world diving immensely into Twitter, tweeting every waking moment of there lives including our current commander-in-chief, unfortunately…Instagram is still my more favorable of the top mediums for participatory media. Plus, you can also post videos on Instagram and go live. Take that Twitter !
