You have a very interesting outlook on what critical thinking means, NRahman6. I completely agree with you, people should not take the information presented to them with face-value. We should continually look at it with “our own view”, to think about it and let it sink in. That way we not only grasp the concept of what they other is presenting, but we would also be able to further understand the concept for ourselves. As a teacher, I can personally tell you that critical thinking and understanding the concept for yourself is what we call “learning” and being able to learn is a beautiful thing.
