Comparison Essay:

When I first started my PSA, I aimed AI and nanobots to show people how both together can shape our future and advance our society. I started by showing societal benefits, like curing diseases and improving the environment, but I kept the language general and concise. I wanted to show how AI’s decision making power and nanobots’ microscopic precision, The message could have been more targeted. This led me to experiment with different targeted audiences using ChatGPT.

In my first version, I asked ChatGPT to rewrite the PSA to be addressed to doctors and engineers. The response I got from ChatGPT brought a more targeted tone and expanded on specific applications, such as “pioneering in the medical treatments” and “environmental sustainability.” These detailed examples made my PSA more relevant to professionals, who would be more familiar with technical applications. The phrasing “driving progress across fields” added an intense weight to the message and underscored the relevance of these technologies in different areas. Although I showed the specificity and technical appeal, it didn’t show the importance behind this.

In my third version, I asked ChatGPT to focus the PSA on engineering and medical students. This version when I read it felt more engaging for a younger audience such as me. It future future-oriented for the students like showing them the future such as “opening new frontiers” and “exciting opportunities to drive change.” It emphasized the potential of AI and nanobots and aligned with students’ inspiring them and how they can make an impact in these fields. I liked how it maintained a forward-looking tone but presented it in an inspiring way. Rather than as a fact. It also shows “cross-disciplinary progress,” which I felt would resonate with students’ interests in both engineering and medical applications. This process showed me how small adjustments in phrasing could greatly impact my PSA’s effectiveness.

Key Question:

“How can the combined power of AI and nanobots drive meaningful impact in healthcare, engineering, and in our environment to improve lives and create a better future?”

Psa:

AI and nanobots are the gateway to our ever-evolving society, offering transformative advancements in healthcare, engineering, and environmental sustainability. These technologies work hand in hand nanobots operate on a microscopic level, performing precise tasks within the body or ecosystem, while AI provides vast decision making capabilities that guide advances solutions. Together, they  open the door for innovative treatments, improved patient outcomes, and sustainable practices. Whether you’re a doctor, engineer, or student, these advancements represent exciting opportunities to shape a better future and drive a change that only we can make the future is here, right now, it us.

Reflection Essay: My PSA Project on AI and Nanobots

My PSA project on AI and nanobots was a long experience filled with a lot of reading and chatgbt. Throughout this  four-week project, I encountered moments of confusion but I used ChatGPT to to help clarify thing I was confused with, but I managed and kept consistently working on it. My reflection essay explores my experience and process through this whole project, focusing on what I learned, the easiest and hardest aspects of the project, and how I would approach it better.

Through my project, I learned three important lessons. First, I realized how many digital tools I rely on, more than I initially thought. I used various devices, my phone, and my laptop. My laptop became essential for initial research and reading. I also utilized a range of software, from Google Docs. I found that ChatGPT requires careful prompting to align with my writing style. My initial expectation was that it would fit  my writing perfectly, but I soon noticed that its responses didn’t fully bring  my voice out.  After a many  adjustments, I found a version that worked for me, although it still didn’t feel entirely like my writing. Third, I learned that projects like this need a lot of organization and time management.

The easiest part of this project was getting started with brainstorming and drafting my PSA. I quickly settled on a topic AI and nanobots and saw my main message right away. Writing the first draft felt natural because I already had a sense of direction. Nanobots has always been on my mind when I was a kid so I wanna make it when I get  older. The hardest part, however, was working with ChatGPT. Even though I thought it was going to be easy. I soon learned that achieving the outcome I wanted required more detailed prompts. Crafting longer prompts led to better responses, which helped me put some emphasis on my PSA’s tone and content.

If I had another week, I would focus on the design element of my PSA. While my project focused on the message, I’d love to explore more visuals, especially using AI image generation tools. Adding a visually appealing element to my PSA could make it more impactful and engaging for the audience.

This project has only slightly changed my views on generative AI can be used, but it has opened my eyes to its potential and limitations. It should how much of a tool ChatGPT can be used instead of a weapon. Initially, I was hesitant about ChatGPT, feeling unsure if it could put out content that felt like mine. After spending time with it, I see it has more value as a tool that can support my work, though it still has a ways to go in capturing my personal voice. I recognize that ChatGPT can be useful with the right approach and clear intentions, but it’s important to remember what it can and can’t do. This project taught me to view AI as a partner to my own work rather than a replacement. Ultimately, the experience encouraged me to reflect on how on how I use theses tools fit into my learning process and helped me become more open to experimenting with new technologies.

Overall, this PSA project was a meaningful journey, revealing the importance of AI and nanobot applications in healthcare, engineering, and environmental sustainability. It also gave me a better understanding of AI’s role in my creative process. As I continue to learn more, I hope to further  my skills in using AI tools effectively instead of a weapon, enabling me to create impactful projects in the future.

Great Delaware Water Gap Adventure

Mountain struggle:

Mountain Struggle: Never in 1 million years have I ever considered hiking up a mountain. The only reason I thought about it was because I was bored in the summer and I don’t regret it either. Not only did I hike up this mountain once, but three times, and each one had a different experience. From the cold water, I jumped onto the top of the mountain and saw heaven.

Heaven & Earth: I took a picture of the top of the Delaware Water Gap mountain. The domain impression would be the sun. It kinda looks like an angle this is also an art photo. the way the lights look down and towards earth and shadows below makes this photo I took amazing. It took me 3-4 hours to reach the top of the mountain.

Flat Earth: This picture I took was also taken at the top of this mountain. there is a lot of green from the trees and the mountain covered by trees, blue from the sky, and brown from the rocks. From this picture, it looks like the Earth goes on forever, or it can look like the Earth stops at the far reach of the picture.

Perfect and Unrehearsed”-Ranold D

In Teju Coles’ essay “Perfect and Unrehearsed” I feel as if Suzhou Creek by Henri Cartier-Bresson is a portrait photo and a documentary too. The photograph has people holding up a cross while at the same time, you see what they’re doing which makes it a documentary too. The reason for me choosing the second photo was the way I look at it it’s kinda funny to me. It looks like the people were working hard all day by the docks which I can only assume that their probably fishing. As you see everyone else still working you see another guy who looks like he’s tired and wants to go home and he just doesn’t want to be there. That’s why it was funny to me because as soon as I go into I just don’t wanna be there. The dominant impression is the cross in the photo. Other than the guys sitting on the doc the cross was the first thing that caught my attention. The reason it probably caught my attention is because religion is a big part of life which made me attracted to the cross first.
