What does people see in almost every corner of the blocks in New York City besides Starbucks? Food cart vendors! Halal food, fruits, soft serve ice creams, and so many more. They are in all over the places in New York, especially in Manhattan. Food vendors are one of the main parts of this city because it is simple, fast, and relatively affordable for most of the people. Personally, i love to eat from many food vendors, especially when I don’t have a lot of time to get food from restaurants, food cart is the best option that i can get. However, what people don’t realize is that while the food is cheap and pretty big portioned, the cleanliness and healthiness is questionable. With their limited resources and space of the trucks, it is not easy to fit the standard from the Health Department and also it may make people get sick.
