This is a 71 years old female with multiple systermic conditions and multiple prescribed medications, also taking a few nutrient supplements as her physician recommended.
During assessments, patient needs to go to restroom a couple of times. Informed patient that is the side effect of the medication which is to treat hypothyroidism.
In addition, due to patient’s dexterity with flossing and embrasure type II papillae, recommended patient to use interdental brush to aid better oral home care.
