About Me

Hello!

My name is Patricia Lee. I am a 23 year old Korean-American, born in Kew Gardens, lived in Astoria, moved to Texas and raised in Queens. Some of my passions right now is volunteering to teach people the Bible, learning new languages, visiting places (local and afar) and dancing. I am fearless when it comes to trying new things and many people will attest to that! 🙂

I would best describe my personality similar to a Grecian. A quote that I always use is: “I am a jack of all trades, a master of none”. I tend to pick up things rather quickly but time and circumstances has always limited me from making it my profession. Examples of this in my life include (but are not limited to): piano, ballet, cooking, swimming and writing. I still have a very strong passion for all these things and hope that someday I can become exceptionally good at one (to say the least) if not all of these things!

That is why I am very happy to say that the 2 years that I have spent my time, energy and focus on in the Dental Hygiene field has molded me to become a skilled, mature woman. I can now say confidently that I am a professional in this field.
What I love to do is to be around people and to teach. I am glad that this role has enabled me to do both. At the end of the day, what really makes me happy is not just a well done cleaning but a life-long lesson that someone will take with them and use for their benefit. They say “If you give a man fish he eats for the day. You teach a man how to fish he eats for life.” Now that’s a real smile I want to give!

With the knowledge and skills that I have earned in this program, I am hoping to humbly learn from experience (good and bad) and to use it to minimize my weakness and increase my strengths. I can wait to see what doors open and where it will take me. I am ready! 🙂
