Case 1

61 year old female; patient is on blood pressure and cholesterol medication. Perio classification: type II with moderate BOP and inflammation. Patient presented with heavy generalized supra and sub gingival deposits. Bone loss noted radiographically with Class I mobility on #22-26. Referral given for periodontal evaluation. Completed full dentition prophy jet followed by scaling and root planning using ultrasonic and hand instruments, with administration of anesthetic. Patient satisfaction 100%.

Case 2

54 year old female, presented for her first dental cleaning in over 20 years. Patient has no medical conditions. Perio classification: type III with severe BOP and inflammation. Patient presented with heavy generalized supra and sub gingival deposits. Generalized bone loss noted radiographically with Class I mobility on #23-26 and Class II mobility on #4. Referral given for periodontal evaluation.  Completed full dentition scaling and root planning using ultrasonic and hand instruments, with administration of anesthetic.
