My name is Polina Katsova. I was born on the other side of the world in a little place called Russia. Coming to America as a child, I worked hard to get to where I am. I have been a dental assistant for over 5 years, learning aspects of dentistry inside and out. During my five year work career, I have acquired various certifications from CPR to dental billing. In August 2015, I began the grueling two year journey of the Dental Hygiene Program at The New York College of Technology. These past two years have flown by in the blink of an eye. I have learned and perfected my skills as a dental hygienist, while expanding my knowledge of the dental field.

I have created this ePortfolio to share some of the many experiences I was lucky enough to have during my two years in the program.
