I participated in a presentation at Greater New York Dental Meeting 2019. My group presented about nutrition and its effects on teeth. Our audience was children from ages of 6-11 year old. We explained what a “cavity” is, and which foods causes cavities. We also distinguished between foods that are good or bad for your teeth. In the end, the children had a hands-on activity in which they pick out food that are good for your teeth and put them on their plate.
This experience presenting at GNYDM was great, I enjoyed teaching children on how diet impacts their teeth. Above are some photos of my group and I at the presentation.
