The guitar is a string instrument of the cordophone family. There are 3 types of modern guitar and they are classical guitar, steel string acoustic guitar and archtop guitar. Much like the piano the guitar is a difficult instrument to learn. Being able to recognize each fret and what notes goes with each fret takes a lot of time and practice. Identifying what note each string plays must come like second nature. From top to bottom musicians must be able to know that the notes of the string on the guitar are E, A, D, G, B, E.
