Sight Reading is one of the basics in music. Learning how to identify the notes on the staff is something that a musician must be able to do. The link below is a tutorial on how to read notes. Identifying Middle C on the piano is very important and from there you will be able to identify the other notes as well. For example, once you identify Middle C on the staff you will then be able to figure out the rest of the notes of the C Scale. After C comes D, E, F, G, A, B and C which are the notes that consist of the C Scale.
