With fully online classes, even if provided before by email or announcement, it is imperative to have a CONTACT INFORMATION section in the navigation menu and with time/day and link (Zoom or else) for Office Hours posted on Blackboard and the best way to reach you (usually an email address). This can be done easily on Blackboard by adding a Contact Tool Link section to the navigation menu. Students have to know when and how to reach their professor and given the possibility of direct interaction with their instructor. The Discussion Board can also be utilized for this purpose
