The class grade should be spread among different assignment types and not just a few (4-5) major tests. In addition to posting the grading break-down, it is suggested to indicate the weight of each activity whenever and wherever possible (announcement, test description, navigation menu, etc…). Typically, weekly quizzes, Discussion Board posts, practice tests are each worth 1-2 % of the final grade and can be part of the participation/attendance grade
