I usually like to plan things out in advance so I have more control and know where I need to go. I started applying for summer internships in January of this year. I didn’t expect it to be difficult to obtain. I was very optimistic. I know that I have the skills and creative mind required to get this job, but I guess I forgot that many people like me are applying for the same position as me, and some of them are from the best school, and I have more experience and a better job than me. The hardest part was hearing we will call you back over and over but not even get a chance to be interviewed was even harder.
I didn’t get the internship I was hoping for at the beginning of the year, but I’m still trying my best. I got an internship by Professor recommendation at the BIWTC.
