Letterpress Printing
Letterpress Printing is one of the oldest forms of printing. It’s a type of technique used to put ink of metal or very hard plastic letters which is then pressed on paper leaving an ink impression. In the 15th century Letterpress was the most used method for hundreds of years. Letterpress Printing was introduced by Johannes Gutenberg. This method was mostly used mainly for the newspaper. Until the 20th century Letterpress Printing was the main way to print out information.
This present day Letterpress Printing is still used but it’s not widely used as in the 15th century to the 20th century. The machine for Letterpress printing is a human sized machine which is very heavy. It’s a very expensive which ranges 2,000$ to 5,000$ used. I’ve seen the machine in person and how it was used and it works in average speed. It’s a very interesting machine.
