My name is Ning Ye. I am a senior in Bachelor of Science in nursing program at City Tech. I am also an emergency room nurse employed in NYU Lutheran medical center for over three years. Being a front line nurse, we treat a variety of people of all ages with conditions range from non acute to life critical. We deal with life and death on daily basis. The fast pace and highly stressed working environment makes me feel overwhelmed and exhausted sometimes, but I still cherish to have this learning opportunity to practice my knowledge and expand my professional experience.  Expanding my practice to more broadly areas and becoming an effective cultural competent nurse will be my future goal after graduating with BS in nursing.
