Individual Strengths

I pride myself on having a personality that is adaptable in any setting. It wasn’t until entering the workforce that I realized how crucial this trait is. When one is working amongst an amalgamation of people, personalities and cultures, there is an advantage for the person who is able to navigate all characters with ease, and able to handle conflicts with the various characters without aggression or arrogance. With being adaptable comes the ability to work well in a team and knowing when and how to assume the various roles within a group. Therefore, I know when to lead and when to follow. Even so, I also have the unique ability to work as an individual and independently complete tasks that will ultimately work towards team progression. Another one of my strengths that has aided me in advancing in the nursing profession is that I am an energetic learner. I am always eager learn new information, tasks, and skills. Additionally, I adopt these new information and skills at a fairly fast pace. Finally, my most valuable strength is my capacity to walk in the shoes, wear the hats, emphasize with others’ situations.
