Hello! My name is Nazira, and I’m a healthcare professional, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from CUNY City Tech in 2024.
My journey in healthcare began a decade ago as a Home Health Aide, providing essential support with everyday tasks and healthcare duties. Through delivering personalized care, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative impact of understanding each individual’s needs and providing tailored support. This belief in the value of personalized attention that has driven me to pursue specialization in dental care through an Associates in Dental Hygiene at CUNY City Tech. With a holistic approach to medicine, I firmly believe in the interconnectedness of oral health and overall well-being.
Throughout my educational journey in Dental Hygiene school, I’ve had the privilege of diving into a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this field. In the classroom, I’ve explored a diverse range of topics, including dental anatomy and physiology, oral histology, and pathology. These courses have provided me with a deep understanding of the structure and function of the oral cavity, as well as the underlying biological processes that contribute to oral health and disease.

Working under the guidance of experienced mentors, I’ve provided comprehensive dental care to diverse patients, honing my skills and gaining confidence in my clinical abilities.
