Patient Cases:

M.C; Age 59

(M/II, localized III)
Patient presented with medium type coronal tobacco stain
Multiple crown and bridge work with pontics
Pocket depths localized 5-8mm
Upon radiographs, FMS revealed radiolucency above #14 root canal.
Treatment: 4 quadrant scaling, polish and fluoride varnish on exposed root surfaces
Patient was referred to Endodontist for retreatment of root canal. Will be seen by Periodontist for periodontal gum surgery.

E.T; Age 40
HBP patient on several BP medications

(H/III)
Pocket depths 6-8mm
Upon radiographs, BWS revealed heavy subgingival deposits
Treatment: 4 quadrant scaling using local anesthesia and mandibular blocks with Carbocaine, with 3 visits.
Reevaluation of completed quadrants: Patient tissue responded well to treatment with less inflammmation and less bleeding. Patient recall is 3 months.
