As you may already know our current Blackboard system within CUNY is limited.
Currently our Blackboard Infrastructure has been developed to provide our students with the features indicated below:
• Announcements
• Course Information
• Some Grades
• Some assignments
• Some level virtual meeting (Collaborate Ultra); however, most professors prefer or use zoom.
• Other resources such as Library
• Calendar
Additionally, our students are provided with an e-mail system URL which is not integrated to the blackboard system.
Lastly, the college intranet is located somewhere else and all other additional resources within the college intranet.
Our New Infrastructure will provide a new and innovated virtual desktop that contain all icons for all items required and more to offer all the respective educational tools in one place.
