Zara

Zara, located in the bustling Union Square area of Manhattan, provided me with an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in visual merchandising. During my time there, I worked closely with the merchandising team to create eye-catching displays that showcased seasonal collections and emphasized key products. One of my main responsibilities was helping to design and set up displays that created an inviting and engaging shopping atmosphere, enhancing the overall customer experience.

In addition to my work on visual presentations, I interacted directly with customers, assisting them in locating specific items and guiding them through the ordering process for home delivery or in-store pickup. By analyzing customer behavior and sales trends, I contributed to optimizing product placement and store layout, which helped improve store traffic and sales.

This experience allowed me to develop skills in visual storytelling, attention to detail, and customer service. I learned how to balance creative design with strategic retail goals and how to communicate effectively with both customers and the team. My time at Zara deepened my understanding of retail aesthetics, customer engagement, and the role of visual merchandising in driving sales.
