Some of my personal characteristics that I believe to be strengths are that I am compassionate and empathetic. I care for everyone’s well-being, and look for the best in people. I believe in investing in myself, allowing me the capability to advancing my career.
As a nurse, I am competent when it comes to working in fast-paced environments because of my ability to adapt quickly. I am able to learn under high stress situations. As well as being able to work independently, I am also trustworthy as a team player. I advocate for my patients by efficiently working and communicating with my healthcare team. Being bilingual in Spanish and English also permits better communication, as the Hispanic population continues to increase.
Additionally, I am committed to providing the highest quality of patient care safely and effectively. This requires knowing when to lead and when to follow, which are characteristics of a good leader.
