About Me

My name is Nashyra Zheng!

Just to give you a little introduction about myself, I came to New York City in 2011 from Puerto Rico, where I was born and raised by my Chinese parents. I’m the youngest out of 4 siblings, so you can say that growing up was all about who had the highest academic achievements.

Surprisingly, all my siblings ended up persuing different types of careers, while I was drawn to dentistry. I graduated high school in 2018, where I started to take courses in hopes to enter the dental hygiene program which became reality in 2020.

I always had an interest in becoming a health provider, I was just never sure on what career path that was going to be. Dentistry was definitely the most appealing to me, which is how I ended up in this field after 2-hard-working years of hands-on experience with amazing patients.
