This day we started to work on the COACHE poster for the Survey of Faculty. Isana provided us the folder with an example of the work, and the text that should be on the poster. She also said that there is no body text yet because it was not provided yet by the administration. Isana said she wanted to use some angular shapes on the poster – squares or rectangles. Each of us decided to do our own version of the poster. We also had to come up with several different slogans, and I chose “The Focus is on Faculty!”.
For that, I used the style guide of the school, I used the fonts and colors provided there.
Above – are three very initial versions of the poster. I played with the layout of the text in different colors (gold or magenta). I’ve decided to place the CUNY logo at the beginning because we would use it anyway, so I wanted to see how it looks.
