I got the idea of this composition from looking at the image of an iaido master. This sparked the idea of utilizing the colors of the Japanese flag, red and white, as well as, indigo, the official color worn by all samurai no matter what their allegiance lies with. Though the composition was a bit tricky, I’m quite satisfied with the result.
