Project 1
what i learned in this project was that i need to improve in my craftsmanship. Its difficult to keep consistency within the shapes since everything is shift around. Craftsmanship is a major issue i need to improve on myself to improve my work.

Texture
The art of texture is a blog i found surfing through the web. Its about a collage artist named Tom Lawerence who travels around Amsterdam in search of trash. Which he incorporates within his art to give a gritty rough feel of what the streets are made of . http://theartoftexture.com/

New York Times 2
So the article i read on defiantly got my attention with the vibrant an abstract look. The artist was Alma Thomas, she was born in Georgia and educated in Washington. Her time working as an art teacher for over 40 years made her pursue a parallel career as a painter. She took the world around her and add life using vibrant colors and making it into her own unique style using the mosaic texture. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/20/arts/design/alma-thomas-abstractions-inspired-by-a-firm-grasp-of-reality.html?ref=design

New York Times Article 1
The article that i read was unusually boring and intriguing at the same time. I read on a famous women artist durning the Revolutionary France (1783). Her name was Vigee Le Brun, her extraordinary paintings were for families of high prestige. She incorporated mostly females into her paintings and restricted the artifice of Neo-Classicism and Lightness. Doing this she developed her own style of naturalism. Preferable i enjoy impressionism, but to the skill of this women and the time where she accomplished such talent is beyond me.
