Orthographic Porjections

The objective of lab 7 was to know how to make produce views of an object, so that a construction drawing can provide more clarity to a carpenter in the scenic shop.

In my opinion, the most valued part of this assignment was the topic of line-type and line-weights. These practices are needed in order to give significance to the parts of an object.

In this project, I had to display the front, top, bottom, left side, right side, and rear views of a 4×8 hollywood style flat. I learned that although the objects in the rear view of the flat can be shown with visible lines, the front view must show the objects in the hidden line fashion, standardized by the USITT.
