Learning Self-Analysis

I feel secure in my choice to pursue nursing as my career path in life. Being a nurse is something that I have wanted for a very long time. My nursing school experience so far has been very valuable. While being a nursing student has not been an easy task with all the necessary studying and the extensive reading material, I have felt honored to be one and be a part of a reputable nursing program such as New York City College of Technology’s nursing program. I feel very proud of the fact that I have successfully completed my associate’s degree in nursing and have acquired a nursing license. It has not only helped grow as a professional but as a person as well. I feel my nursing school experience has encouraged my compassion and understanding for others. I have also learned important life lessons through studying nursing. I have learned a great deal of information that will help guide me in my nursing career. I am very excited and hopeful of the future of my nursing career and looking forward to seeing the positive changes I can make in people’s lives. I am very invested in completing my bachelor’s in nursing and later seeking continuing education. As a nurse, I will put a strong effort into educating patients on the importance of preventive care and encourage them to be active in their treatment plan. I will do be best to be an advocate for all my patients and actively practice beneficence and nonmaleficence. I am determined to strive to be well-educated, informed on important matters in nursing and most importantly a good nurse to my patients. I want to provide safe and efficient care to my patients.
