Hello, my name is Melissa Johnson and welcome to my Nursing ePortfolio. In my ePortfolio, you can view my resume, my philosophy on nursing, my self-analysis, and a sample of a written assignment. I am a professional registered nurse. I acquired my associate’s degree in nursing from New York City College of Technology in May 2018. I took the NCLEX in July 2018 and obtained my nursing license. I am currently enrolled in the bachelor’s program at New York City College of Technology. I am interested in working in an acute care setting. First, I want to gain valuable medical-surgical experience then pursue a nursing career in an intensive care unit. My other interests include going for long walks, shopping, yoga, spending time with my family and traveling to new countries.
