In this class we will attempt to answer the questions “What is architecture?” What components make up a work of architecture? What does an architect do? To do this we will look at the history of architecture from prehistoric times to present day. Hoping you will begin to see, experience and analyze the built environment around us.
In this first essay, after reading the articles on Blackboard, discuss your understanding of architecture. Why do you want to study it? What skills do, or do not have to be successful?
